Buffalo Rec FAQ's

WHAT IS MEET THE TEAM WEEK?
We build in a day prior to the start of the game season for players to meet their coach and team, and practice together before their first week of games.  Season dates above do not show the Meet the Team Week.

WHAT TEAM WILL MY SON/DAUGHTER BE ON?
Age Divisions are determined by birth year. Teams are made by random selection

CONSIDER BECOMING A COACH!
Our Recreation program would not be able to run without the assistance of volunteer family members. Please consider coaching!

WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT LEVEL?
Wright County Soccer offers our community-based recreational programs, so that kids can try soccer without committing to a traveling league or an overwhelming schedule . You are here to have fun while learning and playing the game of soccer.  Every player participates equally.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED TO PLAY?
Every player is required to wear shin guards covered by long socks. It is highly recommended that each child have their own ball that they can bring to each practice. Soccer balls vary in size. The following is the breakdown of appropriate sizes per age division:

U4s-U8s- Size 3 Ball
U10s-U13s- Size 4 Ball

CAN  MY CHILD WEAR ANY JEWELRY?  No jewelry may be worn by any player during the games. Please refrain from having your child’s ear pierced during the season. Earrings are NOT permitted on the field for any reason! Medical bracelets are the only exception and they must be taped.
